DAY 7- Last work day of project.

Today was the last work day of our project: we discussed modern board-games, walked in Sillamäe, played some outdoor games, were on jazz-concert, watched videos  with games made during project, missed Maltese group and analyzed all of project according to 8 key competences, had farewell-evening.

DAY 6: The DAY of National Games. Let's play together! But it is also Malta departure day :(

Today was a super day: we organized an event for school children (3th grades) and they were very-very active!!!
We didn't expect so much energy and rush! After playing with smaller children our Latvian group taught  us some Latvian games, it was funny!

DAY 5: Outdoor games in different seasons.

Today we did last preparations for  event with smaller children and then left school and went to investigate, what games can be played in winter, we visited Kohtla-Järve Ice Hall and Kukruse Polar Manor House.

DAY 4: outdoor activities and games without age!

It was -21 today in the morning, so we changed little bit our plans, but not too much!
It was very funny and interesting day, BUT one hand was broken :( Victoria, get well soon!

DAY 3: Russian, Estonian, Slovenian, Maltese games, game in Sillamäe town

Wednesday, DAY 3 of project. Today we learned Estonian, Russian, Maltese, Slovenian games, also we had orienteering game in our town.
It was very cold outside, but warm in our hearts!

Planning youth exchange

It was a very long period of preparations. We've been with young people to trainig course The Idea 24, planned our project, then looked for partners and filled an application form. Then we applied 1 October and good news came in December: our project was approved  and got funding!
THANKS TO YiA programme and to our National Agency!
Tomorrow we will start with 4 partners from Slovenia, Malta, Latvia, UK

GAMES OF TIMES

Project "Games of Times" is a multilateral youth exchange, which will take place in Sillamäe (Estonia) from 20 -27 January 2014. The main topic of project is using games and outdoor activities as a tool to make  youngsters with different cultural contexts and different opportunities  cooperate together and to strengthen connections between generations. During 8 days 32 youngsters and 6 youth leaders from Estonia, Malta, Slovenia, Latvia and UK will use different kinds of national games and outdoor activities to learn different cultures, traditions and even history of other countries, will communicate with representatives of different generations (older people, smaller children) and try to create an interesting video with different kinds of national games and description of possibilities to adapt games for different target groups.

There are lots of workshops, games, reflection pauses and activities prepared by young participants of project and also youngsters will organize an event for children and youngsters of Sillamäe town.

During project we use different informal methods for learning and informing other youngsters about project.
